Fashion has always been a powerful tool of self-expression within the Black community. It has allowed us to express individuality in a system that would otherwise view us as monolithic. From sneaker culture and hair to accessories and styling, Black people have been setting trends within the fashion industry for decades. Join the members of the Mu Delta Chapter for our event, “Our Fashion, “Our Fly” where we’ll explore the history of fashion within the Black community and why reclamation is an important part of our journey with fashion.
