The Physics Department invites undergraduate and graduate students to a career panel featuring GW physics alums. Panelists include professionals in various non-academic fields who graduated with a bachelor's, master's and/or doctoral degree from GW. All graduate students and undergraduate majors, minors, as well as interested students in physics, biophysics or astronomy & astrophysics, are encouraged to attend this event on Friday, October 24 from 3 to 5 p.m. 

Schedule:

• 3–4 p.m. | Panel | Corcoran Hall, 101A
• 4–5 p.m. | Reception | Corcoran Hall, Fourth Floor

Since that Friday is the start of GW's Alumni & Families Weekend, students who have family and/or friends visiting are more than welcome to bring them to the panel and/or reception, so they can see the department and hear about various career opportunities for physicists as well. More details on the panelists will follow, but the panel will include alums working at the FDA, Varian, Comcast, and Google Quantum AI. Please save the date!
