 tions or concerns.\n\nPanelists:\n\nMichael D. Hausfeld\, widely recognize
 d for his leadership on antitrust matters and his groundbreaking cases in 
 human rights law\, is the Chairman Emeritus of Hausfeld and is based in Wa
 shington\, D.C. Michael’s distinguished career has included some of the 
 largest and most successful class actions in the fields of human rights\, 
 discrimination\, and antitrust law.\n\nMichael has a long record of succes
 sful litigation in the antitrust field\, on behalf of individuals and clas
 ses\, in cases involving monopolization\, tie-ins\, exclusive dealing\, an
 d price fixing. He is involved in ongoing investigations of antitrust case
 s abroad and pioneering efforts to enforce competition laws globally. Mich
 ael has an abiding interest in social reform and has been a part of some o
 f the most groundbreaking cases in that arena both in the U.S. and around 
 the world. He was a member of the ABA Antitrust Section’s Transition Tas
 kforce\, which advised the incoming Obama Administration and has chaired t
 he ABA’s Civil Redress Committee. \n\nIn 2023\, Global Competition Revie
 w bestowed Michael with a Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his
  many contributions to the development of competition law throughout his c
 areer. Similarly\, in 2022 the American Bar Association’s Antitrust Law 
 Section honored Michael with a Lifetime Achievement Award for a career tha
 t has left an indelible impression on the Section and for the achievements
  and services that he has provided to the cause of promoting competition a
 nd protecting consumers.\n\nPatrick A. Malone is a trial lawyer based in W
 ashington\, DC.\, who represents seriously injured people in lawsuits agai
 nst hospitals\, doctors\, drug companies\, government agencies\, and other
  defendants  (including currently\, suing Donald Trump on behalf of US Cap
 itol Police officers injured in the Jan. 6 insurrection). Malone has writt
 en three books on effective advocacy\, the latest: The Fearless Cross-Exam
 iner: Win the Witness\, Win the Case. He teaches advocacy to plaintiff law
 yers across the country. Before attending Yale Law School\, Malone was an 
 award-winning investigative newspaper reporter. Malone and his staff work 
 out of offices a few blocks north of the White House\, and they represent 
 clients throughout Maryland\, Virginia and DC.\n\nJames Hannaway is Senior
  Litigation Counsel at Sanford Heisler Sharp. James’s practice has focus
 ed on employment discrimination\, qui tam\, and public interest litigation
 \, representing governments\, individuals\, and classes. Among other cases
 \, he currently represents the City of Baltimore against America’s large
 st ghost gun manufacturer\, a class of Black Deputy U.S. Marshals alleging
  race discrimination against the U.S. Marshals Service\, and a whistleblow
 er alleging that the largest single-family landlord in America defrauded h
 undreds of California cities by failing to secure renovation permits. Befo
 re joining the firm\, James completed a clerkship for Deborah Robinson\, M
 agistrate Judge for the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. 
 He received his law degree with highest honors from GW Law\, where he was 
 Research Assistant for Associate Dean Alan Morrison\, Articles Editor of t
 he GW Law Review\, and President of the American Constitution Society.\n\n
 Lynne Bernabei has been litigating employment discrimination\, civil right
 s\, and whistleblower protection cases for over thirty-five years. She is 
 a founding partner of Bernabei & Kabat\, PLLC where she handles claims of 
 civil rights violations\, discrimination\, and other employment and contra
 ct disputes. Ms. Bernabei has developed extensive trial experience in fede
 ral and local courts throughout the country. Ms. Bernabei has been include
 d in The Best Lawyers In America\, Super Lawyers\, Washingtonian\, and Law
 dragon.  Ms. Bernabei is currently representing a Metropolitan Police Offi
 cer and has represented a survivor-leader of sex trafficking\, executives 
 and managers in the financial and mortgage finance industries\, physicians
 \, attorneys\, corporate managers\, government employees\, and nuclear ind
 ustry workers in discrimination and whistleblower cases\, and Muslim chari
 ties.
