Join the School of Media & Public Affairs for a symposium hosted by SMPA, the GW Illiberalism Studies Program, and Georgetown University’s Center on Faith and Justice titled Religion, Politics, and the 2024 U.S. Elections: What Happened and What Comes Next? The November 20 plenary panel hosted on the GW campus will explore insights on the conservative Christian vote in the 2024 election, examine the role of Christian nationalist networks in election denialism and the January 6 Insurrection, and discuss overlaps and distinctions within Christian nationalism.
