This session introduces Proquest PIVOT and InfoReady, two powerful tools available to the GW scholarly community. Participants will learn how integrating these platforms allows them to shorten the time from identifying internal and external funding opportunities to proposal development and submission.

This interactive session will provide the answer to these and other questions:

• How can PIVOT find and send me funding opportunities?
• How do I apply for intramural funding to collect pilot data or explore a new project?
• What do I do if a funding opportunity limits the number of applications from an organization?

Interactive learning will serve as the core of this workshop. Participants can access each system guided by an instructor, participate in Q&A and interact with other participants.

Learning Objectives

• Participants will receive an overview of each system.
• Participants will set up their accounts and/or access the platforms.
• Participants will understand the lifecycle of GW internal competitions.
• Participants will learn key features and capabilities of each system and when and how to use them.
