Join the students and faculty of the Department of Romance, German & Slavic Languages & Literatures for an evening film series on immigration, starting with the German film Transit! All films are subtitled and open to the public.

About the Film:
Dubbed "Casablanca as written by Kafka," Petzold's film adaptation of Anna Segher's novel is an existential, political thriller about a desperate refugee from a Nazi concentration camp who reaches Marseilles, where he assumes the identity of a dead author in order to get the most important of all documents: transit papers.
