Join us on Thursday, Nov. 9, from noon to 4 pm at the Military Community Center (2035 F St, NW) for an event hosted by the First Generation team and the Military and Veteran Services Office. This special gathering is dedicated to honoring and expressing gratitude to the individuals who have supported both veterans and first-generation students on their unique journeys.

At the event, visit our letter writing station, to craft heartfelt messages of appreciation. We'll even take care of mailing them for you if you provide an address. Additionally, unleash your creativity at our rock painting area, where you can paint inspirational messages on rocks to scatter throughout campus, spreading positivity. And, to top it off, enjoy snacks and uplifting music as we celebrate our first-generation students and members of our military community.
