DESCRIPTION:Rising Tides is Strategic Crisis Simulations' fourth and final 
 simulation of the academic year. Participants will navigate the challenges
  of military escalation and de-escalation in our annual U.S.-China relatio
 ns sim.\n\nIt is 2028\, and a collision between Chinese and Philippine ves
 sels has prompted large-scale Chinese military exercises around Luzon Isla
 nd and in the Taiwan Strait. Join Strategic Crisis Simulations for our sig
 nature annual U.S.—China simulation\, Rising Tides. Participants have th
 e option to play as suddenly surrounded Taiwanese officials\, frustrated C
 hinese Ministry of State Security officers\, interloping Vietnamese diplom
 ats\, or Philippine military officers reeling from a re-ignition of the do
 rmant Mindanao conflict and a bruising presidential election. Rising Tides
  will take place on Saturday\, April 18th\, 2026\, from 11:00 AM EST to 5:
 00 PM EST. This simulation will be held in-person at George Washington Uni
 versity's Funger Hall\, 2201 G St NW\, Washington\, DC 20052. We will be p
