Join your East Commons Faculty-in-Residence (Professor's Dortch and Zhao) for a night of soul food as we celebrate the contributions of Black people to global food and culture. Each month beginning Sunday January 29, 2023 we will watch one part of the four-part Netflix docuseries “High on the Hog”. The show considers how much of what we consider American cuisine today was influenced by African American culture, through generations of enslavement and the fight for equal civil rights.
