PLSA is excited to host Vice Provost for Diversity, Equity, and Community Engagement Caroline Laguerre-Brown on November 9, 6 p.m. at Funger 208!
Vice Provost Laguerre-Brown earned her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, and has experience as a former prosecutor, labor and employee defense counsel for the New York City Transit Authority, and staff counsel to the Equal Employment Advisory Council in Washington, D.C.; Vice Provost Laguerre-Brown is also currently a civil rights lawyer. At GW, Vice Provost Laguerre-Brown leads effort to advance diversity and inclusion and oversees the Honey W. Nashman Center for Civic Engagement and Public Service, the Office of Disability Support Services, the Multicultural Student Services Center, and the Title IX Office.
