This Earth Month, join Bodhi Vasilopoulos with Nature's Love and Wisdom at the GW GroW Garden for an educational herb walk and culinary demonstration. During this event we will cover topics such as plant identification, techniques for organic gardening and farming, how to harvest sustainably and prepare different wild edible foods throughout the seasons, understanding the basics of botany and herbalism, and more. Come learn about the plethora of edible and medicinal springtime herbs, enjoy the beautiful weather, and connect with like-minded people. About Bodhi:

Bodhi Vasilopoulos is the founder of Nature’s Love & Wisdom. He is a passionate forest gardener, herbalist, forager, and educator. His teaching explores the intersection of foraging, agroforestry, and food systems with ecology, activism, and cultural transformation. He organizes immersive educational programs and collaborates with local universities and institutions such as Howard University, George Washington University, University of Maryland, Montgomery College, Montgomery County Parks and many others to spread this work. Bodhi also helps manage Forested, a regenerative food forest farm and education center working to expand forest agriculture in Washington, DC and Maryland. In addition, he is a sitting council member for the Montgomery County Food Council. Bodhi holds a BS in environmental science and engineering, multiple technical certifications, and more than twelve years of experience working with the land.
