The GWU Student Chapter of ASA is organizing the following event to help students prepare and apply effectively for PhD admission. Several experienced professors will give practical and helpful guidance and suggestions on selecting universities and preparing applications to maximize admission (with funding) chances. Sophomores, juniors and first year MS students, who will apply for PhD admission in a future year, will receive advice on course selection and other activities for building a strong resume for PhD admission.
Students who are interested in entering a PhD program or have an open mind about it must attend this event. The panel will also answer questions about academics and career, not limited to PhD admission. Do not miss out this precious chance to connect with faculty and listen to some enlightening insights!
