The GW Steel Bridge team designs and builds a 20 foot long bridge every year based on a new problem statement to compete against other schools at the ASCE conference in April. During the Fall semester, we design the bridge and analyze it using AutoCAD and StaadPro. In the Spring, we will build the bridge in the machine shop.
