About this Event
2130 H Street NW, Washington DC 20052
In this workshop, we will guide you through a process of independently preparing to tell a (digital) story with multimedia in partnership with Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI). We will introduce a framework for how to structure a story. We will go through a series of steps collaborating with GAI to create a story outline, a draft script, and a storyboard (with visuals) that brings the narrative to life. This session aims to empower faculty to independently draft the design of educational media. This workshop is introductory; some experience in media design or production may be beneficial.
Participants are encouraged to make ChatGPT and Bing Chat accounts prior to attending the workshop.
This workshop is part of the Partner with Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) in Your Classroom series for GW instructors seeking to explore the myriad way in which GAI can help in your classroom, from personalizing learning to helping you develop materials. Workshops in this series are sponsored by the Instructional Core. The Instructional Core provides comprehensive, integrated solutions for instructors in search of teaching solutions. If you need feedback on assignment or syllabus design, advice on teaching methods, or ideas for new activities, consider booking a consultation with the Instructional Core.
All sessions are free to GW students, faculty, staff, and alumni. GW has an institutional commitment to ensuring that all of our programs and events are accessible for all individuals.
