 lications will be held on Thursday\, May 1\, 2025\, 12:00 p.m.- 4:30 p.m. 
 ET\, virtual only\, and Friday\, May 2\, 2025\, 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. ET\, 
 hybrid\, with in-person and virtual presentations and attendees\, at the G
 eorge Washington University’s Foggy Bottom Campus\, City View Room. The 
 City View Room offers sweeping views of the nation capital’s top landmar
 ks\, providing a remarkable backdrop for a spectacular event!\n\nRegistrat
 ion for the conference is free. Please indicate on the registration form w
 hether you plan to attend in-person or virtually. (Note: Select the in-per
 son option if you plan to attend in person at GW’s City View Room on May
  2nd. May 1st is virtual for all attendees.)\n\nThe Student Journal Sympos
 ium aims to foster dialogue and collaboration among undergraduate and grad
 uate student-led journals. The 2025 Student Journal Symposium offers oppor
 tunities for students\, faculty\, and administrators interested or involve
 d in student publications to engage in interactive workshops and roundtabl
 e conversations\, hear from plenary speakers and student panelists\, and c
 onnect with fellow university journals in the DC area\, throughout the Uni
 ted States\, and internationally. We hope to foster conversation on best e
 ditorial\, leadership\, and community practices and discover how to suppor
 t student publications. Topics will include sustainable leadership\, ethic
 s\, diversity\, grants\, partnerships\, navigating AI in submissions\, and

 e will be hearing from ~70 students\, faculty\, librarians\, administrator
 s\, and publishing professionals representing 38 undergraduate and graduat
 e student journals from 30 universities in the United States\, Canada\, an
 d the United Kingdom!\n\n \n\nAttendance (in person and virtual) to the co
 nference will be free-of-charge\; pre-registration is required.\n\nLunch w
 ill be provided to in-person attendees\, and a social hour is planned foll
