As concerns about student privacy and online safety continue to grow, Toyo University, GW Law’s Center for Law and Technology, and the Public Interest Privacy Center (PIPC) are excited to announce a free conference, “Student Privacy & Parental Consent: Legal Innovations and Global Insights,” and a pre-conference workshop, “Child Privacy Online,” at George Washington University in Washington, DC on February 6 and 7, 2025.

The conference will convene experts to discuss emerging global frameworks to better safeguard child and student privacy and safety online. Attendees will gain practical strategies for implementing parental consent, learn about innovative legal frameworks from around the world, and network with leading experts in the field of student privacy.
