In conflict and post-conflict zones, survivors of sexual violence often receive minimal protection and support. This panel will examine the gendered impacts of recent conflicts in Ukraine, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Syria, and Tigray, Ethiopia. Panelists will discuss both short-term and long-term strategies to support survivors and advocate for meaningful justice and accountability mechanisms that align with their needs and experiences.
