This session is intended to give you the opportunity to apply the concepts from the video, as well as to get feedback from peers, colleagues, and experts. The session will be mostly application and practice. Please review pre-work prior to the session.

• Describe the characteristics of formative and summative assessments.
• Explain curricular alignment between assessments, learning objectives, and teaching strategies.
• Relate an assessment to a given learning objective.
