Stop by the museum anytime between 12:30 and 4:30 p.m. for a hands-on program inspired by the exhibition Source Material: Lessons in Responsible Fashion. Led by Chesapeake Fibershed, this mini workshop invites you to reimagine old clothes and scraps as art. Use textiles and magazine cuttings to create textured mixed-media collages from everyday materials. Participants are welcome to bring one or two of their own clothing items or use the materials provided. Our Textiles 101 pop-ups continue Saturday afternoons through February 7. Come back each week to learn a different skill or activity, each designed to extend the life of your garments and inspire more mindful fashion choices all year long.
