Please note: This event is at registration capacity, and we are unable to accommodate any walk-ins.

Since this is a large event, we will manage badge pick-up for registered student attendees in the CDO on Monday, 10/28, Tuesday, 10/29, and Wednesday, 10/30.

This will allow you to pick up your badge, drink tickets, and an event map before the reception, which should make the event run smoothly. Only registered students with badges may attend the reception.

Logistics Come to the CDO (Burns 310) next week to pick up your badge. We will check your ID and issue you a wristband and two drink tickets.

• Monday, 10/28 - 9 am-5 pm
• Tuesday, 10/29, 9 am-5 pm
• Wednesday, 10/30, 9-10:45 am, 1:30-3 pm

Be sure to arrive at the event wearing your name badge and, if you wish to have access to beer/wine, your wristband and your drink tickets.

To the Class of 2027: You are cordially invited to our Recruiting Preview Reception on Wednesday, October 30, 2024.

Join us for this networking reception to meet with representatives from large law firms who frequently hire GW Law students. 

As a member of the Class of 2027, if you are interested in working in Big Law, you should attend this reception as part of your job search strategy for Summer 2026 and post-graduation. This will be a career-fair style set-up with each employer at a table. 

To prepare for the reception, be sure to attend our workshop on Wednesday, October 23, 12-1pm, Class of 2027: How to Navigate the Big Law Job Search.

Come prepared in business attire with your resume and elevator speech ready to go!
