The Public Health Student Association is proud to host “The Impact of Dobbs” as part of National Public Health Week! This pertinent discussion will delve into medical & legal and domestic & global public health ramifications of the US Supreme Court’s landmark ruling eliminating abortion as a federal constitutional right. This interdisciplinary panel includes:

  • Sara Rosenbaum, JD – Professor Emerita Health Law and Policy at the Milken Institute School of Public Health 
  • Julia Strasser, DrPH, MPH – Director of the Jacobs Institute of Women’s Health & Assistant Research Professor of Health Policy and Management at the Milken Institute School of Public Health
  • Shirley Graham, PhD – Director of the Gender Equality Initiative in International Affairs & Associate Professor of Practice in International Affairs at the Elliott School of International Affairs
  • Sara Imershein, MD, MPH, FACOG – (Immediate) Past Chair of the District of Columbia Section of the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists & Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences
