The implications of Xi Jinping’s unprecedented third term and the CCP’s current objectives remain obscured and heavily debated in the U.S., given the opaqueness of the Chinese political system and frequent shifts in the CCP’s party platform. Come take part in the USCSSO’s largest event of the year: our own annual Spring Conference featuring Dr. Joseph Torigian, (American University), an expert on Chinese elite politics, and early-career professionals who have successfully entered competitive fields related to international affairs, including the federal government, think tanks, the private sector, and more. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with speakers, learn about USCSSO contributors’ research projects, and network with other early-career and aspiring young professionals.
