Jim, who founded the Office of Innovation & Entrepreneurship in 2010, was the previous Director of both the Mtech VentureAccelerator and Chesapeake Bay Seed Capital Fund at the University of Maryland. Before starting his private sector career as an early-stage venture capital investor, he was an academic researcher at MIT, Harvard, and the University of Tokyo (Fulbright Fellow).
