About the Speaker:

Meet Angelica Silvero, a Brazilian national, who recently retired after 30 years, with the World Bank and Head of the World Bank Speakers Bureau. Her role was to educate and inform audiences about the World Bank. She organized, designed, and delivered presentations to more than 20,000 students and professionals a year. 

Angelica also worked on World Bank global campaigns on Gender, Social Safety Nets, and was part of the group that organized the first World Bank TED event (TEDxSendai in Japan).

She studied Communications and Business Administration and continued postgraduate studies in Communications from Johns Hopkins University.
