The ability to search the chemical literature is a critical skill in chemistry research, whether for writing a lab report, journal article, candidacy proposal or thesis. The CCAS Department of Chemistry welcomes (via Zoom) two representative from Chemical Abstracts Service, a division of the American Chemical Society:
Mr. Hertzog will be walking us through a presentation on the use and recent developments on SciFinder. In preparation for this meeting, or if you have not already done so, please register for an account. In addition to numerous online resources (video tutorials, etc.) which are available, as part of our contract with CAS, groups can schedule additional training workshops to focus on particular research areas and search tools. There is no limit to the number of users who can sign on to SciFinder, so feel free to connect and try out new search tools before, during and after the seminar.
