The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences offers a variety of undergraduate and doctoral degree programs in psychology as well as proximity to major research institutions and health centers such as the National Institutes of Health, Pew Research Center and Children's Hospital National Medical Center. The Psychological and Brain Sciences Department is housed in GW's Columbian College.
