GW Tourism Think Tank

GW Tourism Think Tank

GW Tourism Think Thank is aimed at providing opportunities for the students to engage in brainstorming discussions with the industry leaders who have excellent expertise in the area of destination marketing and management. The format of GW Tourism Think Thank is well established through our years of educational experience. Six industry leaders (six CEOs of different destinations) are invited. All the participants meet in the primary virtual Think Tank room. After welcome and introductory speeches, each industry leader goes to a different Think Tank room to meet around eight graduate students to discuss a pre-determined industry problem. Each industry leader receives the question in advance, or the industry leaders determine the questions concerned with students. After a 30 minutes discussion in six breakout rooms (virtual Think-Tank rooms), all the participants meet in the main Think Tank room.  Then, a pre-selected spoke person from each Think Tank session shares what was discussed in their virtual think tank room.
