Information Session: Fine Arts (MFA)

Fine arts student working on a sculpture

Join Maria del Carmen Montoya, assistant professor of sculpture and spatial practices and director of graduate studies for fine arts, to learn how our MFA in Fine Arts curriculum fosters a rigorous and experimental approach to art making, while encouraging students to pursue their creative commitments in the studio and in the world. Our program emphasizes a critical and creative relationship between content and form, an awareness of art historical connections and engagement with the contexts of creative production. As part of this session, you will have the opportunity to ask us any questions you might have about our program and the application process.
