Do you have an idea for an app, but don’t know where to start? The GW Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship is hosting this year’s second Mobile App Design and Management Workshop. Come join us on November 6 from 5:00-5:45 pm for a special workshop where we’ll learn about the different approaches and disciplines in building an app and how to build the foundations of a successful, marketable mobile app. Seats are limited! We’re excited to have one of our amazing GW Mentors-in-Residence and Software Product Manager, Qyana M. Stewart, to bring and share her skills and knowledge to this event. Qyana is the CEO & Principal Consultant of GlobalForce Tech consulting where she leads her clients to success by providing innovative cutting edge and technological solutions that solves some of the world’s most complex social problems.

As an entrepreneur, Qyana serves as the CEO & Principal Consultant for GlobalForce Tech Consulting, LLC (GFTC), a company she founded in 2018 and President of GlobalForce For Girls, Inc. (GFG., a 501c3 STEM workforce development nonprofit she founded in 2020.  At GFTC, Qyana guides her clients to success by providing innovative, cutting-edge, and secure technological solutions. From mobile to cloud-based applications, she is successfully carving out her own niche of a rapidly-growing industry and doing so by upholding GFTC's core beliefs: People. Process. Safe and Secure Products. 

She holds a Master of Science degree in Information Technology, a Graduate Certificate in Project Management from the University of Maryland University College, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Howard University. Qyana is a certified Scrum Master & Product Owner (CSPO), and is experienced in Product Management & Product Marketing.
