Learn about economics and business data resources you can access through GW libraries. This workshop will leave you with the skills you need to find data and statistics in several different databases.
All sessions will be first-come, first served and are free to GW students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Attendance requires no reservation.
This workshop is part of Data & GIS Day. Join us in our celebration of GIS and election data! Stop by anytime throughout the day for a stand-alone, 1-2 hour session on a topic relevant to your interests. In the morning presenters will teach how to approach social sciences questions spatially and acquire data. During the midday Exhibits, participants will have an opportunity to interact with historic data and maps available at GW. In the afternoon, we will offer a hands-on introduction to GIS using QGIS, and a session on understanding elections with data featuring presentations by GW researchers.
