The High-Impact Research Strategic Planning Committee invites the GW community to a public forum.
President LeBlanc recently launched GW’s strategic planning process. In the coming months, four committees tasked with developing this five-year plan will seek the community’s input to formulate priorities and goals.
The High-Impact Research Strategic Planning Committee is charged with “developing a strategy for improving research productivity across the university that addresses all disciplines and leverages the unique opportunities available at GW.” During this first public forum, the committee invites feedback on the following questions:
- What does high-impact research mean in your discipline?
- What metrics are used to assess research success in your discipline?
- What impediments do you encounter when conducting your research at GW?
- What university resources or commitments would facilitate the conduct of your research?
For those who cannot attend in person, answers to these questions can be submitted through the strategic plan website. Additional information regarding the strategic planning process is available at strategicplan.gwu.edu.
Light refreshments will be provided.
