Teaching Day is the University Teaching and Learning Center's annual fall event that draws faculty from across GW into conversation around teaching and learning. This September, we will be joined by professor and noted author Dr. Claire Howell Major, who will deliver the keynote address as well as an early morning master class. GW faculty-led interactive sessions, a faculty luncheon, and a Scholarship of Teaching and Learning faculty poster session will round out the day-long program. New this year, following Teaching Day, we will have Open Classroom Days, in which faculty can continue their exploration of great teaching by visiting a colleague's class.
Teaching Day is open to all GW faculty, free of charge. We request that you register for the luncheon/keynote but all other events are walk-in. All events will take place in the Marvin Center, 3rd Floor.
Visit the University Teaching and Learning Center for more information and a full schedule of events.
