Using Library Resources in Your Job Hunt

Library resources are not only useful for academic research, but also can assist you in finding a job. In this workshop, librarians Shmuel Ben-Gad and David Ettinger will demonstrate how you can search various databases to track down employment opportunities, build a network, and prepare for job interviews.

All sessions will be first-come, first served and are free to GW students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Attendance requires no reservation.

This workshop is part of the Skills for Professional Success series, which focuses on the practical skills you need to get the job and impress the boss. Other workshops this Spring 2020 are Build Your Project Website with GitHub Pages and Getting Results from Your Work with Project Management.

GW has an institutional commitment to ensuring that all of our programs and events are accessible for all individuals. If you require any accommodations to participate in this event, please contact [email protected] at least 72 business hours (3 business days) prior to the event.
