View Into the Senses highlights thirteen artists from the GW Collection, overseen by the Luther W. Brady Art Gallery. Created between 1957 through 1984, the works on paper elucidate how the first abstract expressionist movement shifted the art world’s focus from Europe to the United States, demonstrating new experiments in minimalism. Organized by graduate students in the Corcoran Art History Department’s History of Exhibitions course, this show is an exploration into the relationship between the viewer and emotions sparked by interactions with art works on paper.
