Taking notes is much more than just writing down information. In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn the purpose of note taking, how to keep notes organized, and ways to take notes faster. Participants will walk away with at least one skill to improve their note taking ability.
All sessions will be first-come, first served and are free to GW students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Attendance requires no reservation.
This workshop is part of the Study Skills Workshops series. Academic Commons has paired up with the Office for the Student Experience to host academic skills workshops in the residence halls. This series will explore different topics to help students reach their academic goals with everything from how to prepare for class, to how to deal with procrastination. All are welcome to attend the workshops.
